A four piece band from Scotland, 2 guitars, clarinet and double bass. The programme described them as "inspired by Parisian Jazz of the 1930s". "Vaguely derivative of" would be more accurate. Competent certainly, often enjoyable, but inspired? This was unimaginative stuff, lacked the verve of many other Django wannabees, and featuring what must be some of the most tedious introductions and lacklustre vocals of the festival.
Stuck in the past.
